The Golden Compass

Not to sound geekier than I already am, but I finally watched The Golden Compass, and it was awesome. I don't see exactly what all the religious uproar was about. I mean I can see the random things that might symbolize other things, but like, who the fuck gives a shit? It's a movie douchbags. Before it was a movie, it was a book. I don't know about the book, but the movie didn't seem to give out strong vibes of atheism. If I don't see the symbolism that much, why the hell would kids? And if the kids don't get the underlying message that there is no god, then what's the fucking problem?

Anyway, The Golden Compass was awesome and I totally recommend it.
