MYTHOLOGY ROCKS

Okay, so, this was an assignment for mythology class: Write a story about why Zeus might destroy the Iron age of man, and what the next race he created would be like.

Story:
Zeus, biggest and baddest god of all, one day decided to have another affair with a mortal. The great Seus traveled from his mighty home on Mt. Olympus to the humble region of the earth named Humboldt, Iowa. Why he visited this specific place, it may well never be known, but visit he did. In perusing this town, the almighty Zeus did not find very many suitable damsels to consort with. There werent many whose beauty could hold his attention.

One day, he saw the most beautiful creature since the birth of his own daughter, Aphrodite. The creature had long legs, the most impressively small yet pointed nose, long golden tresses, and full, lush lips. He sought after her. Zeus was soon dismayed to find that this fine damsel was not actually a damsel at all, but a boy. Zeus became enraged.

"Boys should not be that pretty!!!" said the mighty Zeus in his anger. "Boys should be manly and not wear pink!"

He then decided to annhialiate the whole of the Iron Age, and make a new race of mortals whose men did not resemble women so much. This race of man was called the Aluminum Age. The men of this age were as manly as you can imagine. Zeus had Haephestus help with the design of these creatures and so most ofhte men turned out quite ugly, while the women were amazing to gaze at, but if you got too close, some manly characteristics might be seen. Thsi race of man were very environmentally concerned and planted lots of trees and recycled everything. Pop was thier main source of nurishment.

The greatest hero of their time was the great Hannah of the can room. She worked hard at sorting all of the pop and beer bottles/cans. She became a minor diety and was heavily revered as the goddess of nurishment and restoration. "Can Room Hannah" soon became a consort of Zeus because she was hte leat manly looking woman of hte Aluminum Age. She bore Zeus 3 children and named htem Pepsi, Coke, and Dr. Pepper. They nurished the people of the Aluminum Age with their knowledge of tasty variety.
