BUTTERFLY EFFECT

My new all time favorite movie is BUTTERFLY EFFECT. Like just about everyone I know, I had my doubts about Ashton Kutcher being in a serious movie, but he gets 4 stars from me on this movie. He only made me think of DUDE WHERE'S MY CAR once. His performance(not to mention his six pack) was awesome, and the movie was even more so.

It's based on the chaos theory and is about this guy who, when he was younger, used to have these odd blackouts and could remember nothing from when they happened. Thus, his doctor suggested he write journals to help jog his memory. Well, when he's about 20 or something, he reads one of his journals and remembers the events that happened b-4 the blackout and then actually relived the events, therefore changing things. This keeps happening as he goes back over and over to try to put right the past and save his first love and other friends from tragic events that had happened to them as children.

I watched the dvd, and so I also saw the director's cut alternate ending. I'm still not sure which ending I prefer, but for anyone who hasn't seen this movie, see it. If you have seen it and dislike it...you are stupid. I LOVE this movie. I think I may love it more than KILL BILL, also a kick-ass movie. In the actual sense of that there is ass kicking involved....! I can't wait to see Vol.2.
